In honor of Allan Nelson, one scholarship may be granted by the Board to recognize a graduating senior with an exceptional record of service during their time as a DSA swimmer. The Board uses information from the Community Service portion of accepted scholarship applications to determine the recipient.

This award is presented each year to a person who has volunteered his or her time and efforts to the sport of swimming. Each team is asked to submit one name of a parent volunteer they feel is deserving of this award. Please submit your entrant by July 1 to the Secretary. Include team affiliation, years of service, and reason for the nomination. The award will be presented at Championships.
